So many of u probably heave sighs of relief whenever the final bell rings on fri. Yeah here's where some of u may go "but we have alot of homework" "sat cca" etc. I understand. Fri is supposed to b wen everything scholastic related ends. But God tests us in ways which we comprehend not. Thus our weekend burdens izzit not. But on the whole, I tink there's a general agreement dat pple tend to b in a beta mood during the end of tings on fri.
Guess wad, the uni has decided to ruin it!! The model of impartiality is doing it, spoiling wad wld otherwise b a tertiary student's privilege to work within a 5 day timeframe! 1 of my modules has 6 tutorial timeslots to choose from n 4 of dem fall on sat!
Obviously dere's alot of panicked balloting going on now. For the un-nus savvy, tutorials is like a time wen the teacher checks whether u have done ur homework n u can select the timeslots u wan. In the case of too many in 1 class, dis ting called balloting goes on. So whether u get the class or not is luck of the draw.
Suffice to say my ultimate choice is many others' preferred choice as well. Come on, who wants to attend a tut from 7-9(pm) even if itz on a sat? So dat leaves a juicy tenderloined 4-6 tue slot. God willing, my name will b called. Heaven knows itz a nice name. Greek for light with a vowel sounding first name to boot, watz not to like. Ok so i'm desperate. Can u blame me? The wed class won't b so bad if i had another class to attend but i dun. N i take 31/2hrs travelling to n fro. The uni system is completely unsympathetic to appeal cases based on distance. I've tried for the past 2 semesters. It was probably spat on n mocked. Not dat i'm bitter abt it.. Just sour.
So until everything's confirmed on mon 9pm, TGIF will still appeal to me n all my darlings out there! Have a gd wkend. Watz left of it Mwa ha!!

Yo all! Just an update on what's been happening to moi.
As I shared last week, I'm ill. Originally, I was down with diarrhoea (i.e: input=high and output=high). Kept having to go to the toilet every few hours or so, and boy did it stink after that :P Now, after seeing the doc on Thurs and taking medication, it seems like the pattern's reversed (i.e: input=low and output=SUPER low). Firstly, I think the amount that I ate for the whole day yesterday was equivalent to how much I can eat in 1 1/2 meals on a normal basis. Secondly, I've only gone to the toilet once in 3-4 days. Bwahaha. Oh, and I thought I had a throat infection on Thursday as well. Seems like it's mutated to become a flu now. Bleah. *Pauses to blow nose. Really* Anyway, now I'm kinda worried, cos if my condition doesn't improve, then I don't think I can attend my Freshman Orientation, or FTB camp (Freshmen Team-Building camp). Not that I was really looking forward to it, but then again, if I don't go, then that means I'll miss out the chance to get to know more people, and getting to know people in Uni is really difficult. Sigh... Just have to pray and leave that up to God.

hi everyone!!
it's been some time. my literary genius has just about dried up for the past wk or so. neway here goes. i'm ogl of a group filled with double degree students. dat means dey belong to business and another faculty but nus only allocates 1 home faculty to dem n it only 2 have dem have a home faculty in business so the turn out was kinda meagre. try saying dat word itz fun..
so neway we merged w dis grp where my og leaders were frens with the og leaders of said grp we merged with. dere's prob a shorter way to put the earlier sentence across but itz getting late n i can barely tink. so we had fun n all n itz all cool.
den the next day, we were told by the pple up dere dat we were merging w a grp dat had no yr2 n above ogls cos 1 of dem is recovering from post-dengue trauma n the other didn't wan the burden of leading a grp all by herself cos she's in rag (datz the giant float tingy each faculty produces every yr. can u believe business is selling stamps on a collection of rag for the past 10 yrs for $20? nobody wanna buy lor lol..)
n the best ting is, my grp had officially 7 pple for orientation whereas the other grp had 23 but my grp name was retained!! the other grp's name was smacked into oblivion (datz a black hole w/o all the density n jazz) Y? bcos of ME!! the OGL!! i m the leader n i represent the grp name. itz like singapore merging w malaysia n all the malaysia leaders kick the bucket (metaphorically u understand). den we r singapore, albeit saddled w 10 mil extra pple. Count on the lee clan man.
