Hey guys,
So many of u probably heave sighs of relief whenever the final bell rings on fri. Yeah here's where some of u may go "but we have alot of homework" "sat cca" etc. I understand. Fri is supposed to b wen everything scholastic related ends. But God tests us in ways which we comprehend not. Thus our weekend burdens izzit not. But on the whole, I tink there's a general agreement dat pple tend to b in a beta mood during the end of tings on fri.
Guess wad, the uni has decided to ruin it!! The model of impartiality is doing it, spoiling wad wld otherwise b a tertiary student's privilege to work within a 5 day timeframe! 1 of my modules has 6 tutorial timeslots to choose from n 4 of dem fall on sat!
Obviously dere's alot of panicked balloting going on now. For the un-nus savvy, tutorials is like a time wen the teacher checks whether u have done ur homework n u can select the timeslots u wan. In the case of too many in 1 class, dis ting called balloting goes on. So whether u get the class or not is luck of the draw.
Suffice to say my ultimate choice is many others' preferred choice as well. Come on, who wants to attend a tut from 7-9(pm) even if itz on a sat? So dat leaves a juicy tenderloined 4-6 tue slot. God willing, my name will b called. Heaven knows itz a nice name. Greek for light with a vowel sounding first name to boot, watz not to like. Ok so i'm desperate. Can u blame me? The wed class won't b so bad if i had another class to attend but i dun. N i take 31/2hrs travelling to n fro. The uni system is completely unsympathetic to appeal cases based on distance. I've tried for the past 2 semesters. It was probably spat on n mocked. Not dat i'm bitter abt it.. Just sour.
So until everything's confirmed on mon 9pm, TGIF will still appeal to me n all my darlings out there! Have a gd wkend. Watz left of it Mwa ha!!
